The center’s building committee hired Krospeson Construction Group, Inc to provide design build services for a new 6,000 sf animal shelter to meet their growing needs. Our Pre-Construction team explored the most current techniques available for the new facility and discussed options to meet the Owner’s needs. Trust our commercial construction team to handle all your office, retail, or industrial construction needs. We suggested that the city of Shelton provide the site work required for the new shelter, and as a result, the city saved $1 million.
The Heart & Paws Animal care was completed in a Design-Build format. Krospeson Construction Group, Inc orchestrated Architects, Engineers, Estimators and the Building Committee to be on the same page. In unison we were able to propel this project to be efficient and cut timelines. After Krospeson Construction Group, Inc was selected, the City of Shelton gave us a site and the progress began. Through renderings we put an effort in to match the neighborhood and the latest dog trends. The design was made and Krospeson Construction Group, Inc estimators discovered what was exactly needed and what could be substituted. This is how we were able to get the most “bang for your buck” and make the budget work. The due diligence of the pre-construction phase sets the tone for the job. This made it easy to get the foundations and metal building installed within months. Specialty containments per the code were no challenge with the research already in place. One great feat was keeping this project within budget working side by side city employees.
