Krospeson Construction Group, Inc acted as Construction Manager for Griffin Hospital’s new outpatient imaging center and 5,800 sf ambulatory center. In addition to such new state-of-the-art imaging equipment as a GE Light Speed CT Scanner, Quantum X-Ray and the Hitachi OASIS Open MRI, this project included a new 480V service upgrade, RF and magnetic shielding, environment cooling, 17-ton chiller, fireplace and aquarium. The complexity of medical equipment from several vendors created a challenge for our Construction team, as infrastructure needs had to be addressed during the design phase to control the client’s budget. Our experience working in the healthcare field has helped us overcome such stumbling blocks.
